The APRU World Initiative (formerly APRU World Institute) was established in 2006 as a platform where leading researchers, policy advisors and business executives from APRU members and other invited institutions could transcend national borders to address issues of regional and global concern.

To be a leader in developing knowledge on strategic issues of importance to academic and business leaders and contribute to policy decisions around the Pacific Rim.

Mission

To contribute to the creation of a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable community of Pacific Rim Societies.

AWI Activities

AWI activities provide opportunities for international groups of multi-disciplinary experts to share their perspectives on strategic issues of importance to academic, business and government policy makers around the Pacific Rim.

An excellent set of APRU and non-APRU intellectual co-sponsors were recruited to develop each workshop.
